Three of Europe’s most forward thinking jazz musicians Reinier Baas (Hans Bennink, Metropole Orchestra) Kit Downes (Squarepusher, Bill Frisell) and Jonas Burgwinkel (Pablo Held, John Scofield) join forces as Deadeye – using the tried and tested formula of Hammond organ, drums and guitar to shed new light on the wildly diverse influences of its members.
The result is a wide musical scope, in which Jazzrock, traditional British folk music and 20th-century Classical music are unified. Although all three of its members share a love for improvisation and the unexpected, they each bring something deeply personal to the table: ethereal textures, undulating yet highly danceable rhythms and angular melodies.

Milanese singer and composer born in ’98, Marta Frigo proposes a hybrid song form that mixes a variety of sounds, dreamlike moments and lyrics immersed in a sound environment at times rarefied and delicate, at times energetic and intense. First place at Lelio Luttazzi Award in the jazz songwriters category 2021 and Third place at the MEI Award 2021, in 2022 she began a recording collaboration with the international label Dasè Sound Lab/Ursa>. In 2023 her single “Non mi resta che tacere” became part of the Spotify editorial playlist “Jazz Italia” and “Selecta” by Alessio Bertallot.
