Yaraki, who grew up in the northern suburbs of Milan, is an Italian-Brazilian artist who narrates the reality she lives and the one she imagines, with a direct language somewhere between dream and concreteness. Her music is contaminated with the sounds of the neighborhood and her roots, crossing all boundaries. Yaraki represents the streets of his city: the strength of those who know that nothing is given away and the lightheartedness of those who are aware that they can make mistakes. She is an authentic, unfiltered voice.
After a period of experimentation, she has defined a personal, assertive sound, thanks in part to the creative direction of artist IRBIS and collaboration with several producers who contributed to her first album, released in 2024. With Piazza Samba, Yaraki invites us to see the glass always half full, to dance and sing, even in the face of difficulties, exorcising negative thoughts and the most complicated situations.
