Perla-Chaise

Formed in Livorno in 2025, Perla-Chaise brings together singer, guitarist and songwriter Jacopo Fusario, drummer Andrea Bellini and bassist Davide Fabrini. Fusario and Bellini previously played together in Synaesthesia, recording the album Jeremy, opening for Bandabardò and Giorgio Canali, and contributing to Parole liberate vol. 2, a compilation that placed third in the collaborative album category at the Tenco Awards. The new trio moves between alternative rock, psychedelia and Italian songwriting, developing a raw, visionary sound. Through an Italian play on words, their name pays tribute to Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris, the resting place of Jim Morrison and Livorno-born artist Amedeo Modigliani.

Their debut album, Vite di quieta disperazione, released by Paolo Bedini’s Baracca e Burattini label, features ten tracks: nine original compositions and a reinterpretation of Bobo Rondelli’s Gigi Balla. Rooted in their hometown, the record weaves together the trio’s different musical influences to explore the anxieties and vulnerabilities of contemporary life.
