Lust For Life is a project of young saxophonist from Forlin, Umberto Girelli. The group was born from the meeting of four musicians: Saverio Zura on guitar, Lorenzo Valentini on bass, Tommaso Stanghellini on drums and Girelli himself on tenor saxophone. The quartet plays a jazz repertoire, particularly from the “hard bop” era, which also ranges to more modern sounds and Latin rhythms, an integral part of the American songbook tradition in general.
