Radical, the pseudonym of Daniele Wandja, is a singer and producer from Rome, born in ’95. His passion for music began early, as he started out as a bassist and frontman of the pop-punk group Leftovers. He made his solo debut on Soundcloud in 2017, becoming the founder of the prolific Soundcloud Rap scene in Italy. Reminiscences of Cloud Rap and Metal were a constant theme in his early music production.
His journey as an independent artist continued in 2018 with the release of his first EP, “TRASHBIN, Vol. 1”, followed by “TRASHBIN, Vol. 2” in April 2019 and “TRASHBIN, Vol. 3” in July 2020, featuring three collaborations with Rosa Chemical, Thelonious B. and Psychologists.
The year 2022 starts with Radical signing with Columbia, Sony, indicating a prolific continuation of his musical journey. His new musical style nods to the latest overseas trends, allowing him to establish himself fully as one of the pioneers in Italy’s emerging music scene. You can get a taste of this new sound starting with “Mafia Malvagia,” his first single released from the album, followed by Too Easy and SWAG (Drip Margiela).
In 2022 he also worked on the song “MARY POPPIN” part of Sick Luke’s album with Thelonius B. In 2023 he is finally ready for the next chapter of his career, working on new projects with international artists, starting with the “EVOL” album repack called “EVOL +” with the two singles “INFERNO” and “KSUBIS” with British artist Fimiguerrero.
