Perturbazione are one of the longest-running bands on the Italian indie-rock scene. Formed on the outskirts of Turin, they made their breakthrough in 2002 with In circolo, the album featuring Agosto, named by Rolling Stone among the hundred greatest Italian albums of all time. With around ten albums and over eight hundred concerts to their name, they took part in the Sanremo Music Festival in 2014 with L’Unica.
Risuona is their latest recording project: ten songs revisited, translated and reinterpreted in Italian, from Yazoo to Lloyd Cole. The album explores the ties between translation, betrayal and tradition, drawing on the idea that transforming a song means giving it a new life.
On stage, songs from Risuona and the band’s back catalogue intertwine with the history of Italian adaptations, from De André to Ron and Renato Zero. An intimate, elegant show in which music and storytelling invite audiences to discover the sparks of beauty and poetry that emerge when different languages and sensibilities meet.
