After the past few years of shared projects and collaborations, and seven years after Afrodite, Dimartino returns to his solo dimension with L’improbabile piena dell’Oreto, his fifth studio album. The record is preceded by “L’oro del fiume”, the opening track of the album, which immediately introduces the sonic and narrative imagery of this new chapter. The project takes shape around a central image: the river, conceived as a place of mystery, exploration, and transformation.
The release of the new album will also be accompanied by a return to the stage with “L’improbabile piena dell’Oreto Tour 2026”, a series of concerts in unconventional and evocative venues where Dimartino will perform the new songs live—alongside the repertoire that has marked his journey as a songwriter and musician over the years—in an intimate, unplugged format. These guitar-and-voice performances will strip the songs — both old and new — back to their essence, bringing them face to face with the audience.
