Are & Ortiz are two rappers from Livorno, bound by a long-standing friendship and a natural artistic affinity. After years of collaborating, they present The Hood Brothers, a nine–track EP that marks the culmination of their creative journey together. Ortiz, who first stepped onto the stage of The Cage in 2022 opening for Don Said, quickly established himself within the local music scene, standing out for his energy and strong presence. Are, born in 2001 and of Ethiopian origin, has been devoted to music since childhood and pursues a personal path rooted in experimentation, moving across different and multifaceted projects while maintaining a steady creative bond with Ortiz.
Although they are not a permanent duo and continue to cultivate their solo careers, together they achieve a rare artistic synergy, capable of turning into powerful and engaging performances. With this new release, they are ready to electrify the stage and captivate their audience.
