Irene Ciol, known by her stage name Ceneri, is a singer-songwriter from Friuli, born in 2000. She was born in the province of Pordenone, in a small village of 8000 inhabitants among the fields, where she grew up surrounded by art and fresh air. A constant desire to experiment and create led her, from a very young age, to engage with painting and later photography, a passion she inherited from her grandfather and father.
In 2016, thanks to a songwriting course, she became drawn to music, an area that allowed her to find a way to tell her story, express herself, and understand herself. Since then, she has never looked back. On May 20, 2022, her first EP Nello spazio che resta was released by peermusic ITALY, produced by B-CROMA. The EP was presented at MI AMI 2022 and followed by a summer tour in the main Italian cities, organized by BPM Concerti.
Almost a year after the release of the EP, which quickly entered major editorial playlists (Indie Italia, New Music Friday, Equal Italia) with over 4 million streams, and preceded by the singles “Lucchetti” and “Appartamento,” the second part of the story began with Nelle teste degli altri, released on March 30, 2023. The single “Porta” was released on May 18. Her new track “Ultima festa” is signed by Double Trouble Club, a label and management agency founded by Jacopo Pesce and Max Brigante, in collaboration with Island/Universal Music Italy.
