A true pioneer of Italian hip hop, DJ Gruff is one of the most influential figures in European urban culture. Turntablist, producer, rapper and innovator of the art of scratching, he has helped shape the identity of Italian rap since the 1980s through groundbreaking projects such as Sangue Misto, Radical Stuff, Isola Posse All Stars and Casino Royale.
At the Florence Jazz Festival, he presents the live show dedicated to O tutto o niente, the album originally released in 1999 and now widely regarded as a landmark of Italian hip hop. A record that cemented his unmistakable style—blending East Coast-inspired beats, masterful scratching, sharp wit and direct lyricism—while redefining the language of Italian rap.
More than twenty-five years after its original release, the newly remastered reissue of the album has inspired a new tour, bringing O tutto o niente back to audiences in a contemporary live production that remains faithful to its original spirit. Performing the album in its entirety, DJ Gruff is joined on stage by Lauryyn, Gavino Murgia and Beatrice Dellacasa for a renewed interpretation of this iconic work.

One of the most respected figures in international reggae music, Alborosie has achieved something truly unique: starting his career in Italy before earning recognition and acclaim in Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae itself.
After his early years with Reggae National Tickets and his permanent move to Kingston in 2001, he built an international career that has led him to collaborate with artists from around the world while releasing a series of landmark albums for labels such as Greensleeves and VP Records. Throughout his journey, Alborosie has remained deeply rooted in reggae tradition while constantly expanding its creative boundaries.
On stage he delivers the full power of contemporary reggae culture, blending roots, dub, dancehall and spirituality into an immersive live experience. His latest album, Nine Mile, pays tribute to Bob Marley’s birthplace and further confirms his status as one of reggae’s most influential global ambassadors. For his live shows, he is joined by the Shengen Clan, the band that has accompanied him on stage for years, delivering a powerful sound deeply rooted in the Jamaican musical tradition.
