Magic Mush is an emerging band from Livorno, formed in 2025 and led by frontman Valerio Spettro Perugino. Rooted in the creative energy of the local music scene, the band members – Enea Jacopo Ciullo, Leandro Magri, Francesco D’Anna, and Mathias Muti – blend diverse influences to shape a sound that moves beyond conventional genres. The band’s name references the Amanita muscaria, a well-known and symbolic mushroom, evoking a desire to look past appearances and embrace a bold, multi-layered imagination.
Following their debut EP Sto Meglio, released on April 25, 2025 and marked by pop-punk and alternative pop elements, Magic Mush continued to refine their artistic identity by pushing its boundaries further. The band signed a distribution deal with The Orchard (Sony Music), marking a significant step in their professional growth. Their new material explores a personal take on “Rap’ n’ Roll,” intertwined with social and cultural themes, while live performances across clubs and festivals in Tuscany have helped solidify their reputation as a compelling live act.
