The Hot Cherry were formed in 2009, delivering a dirty, compact sound that blends metal, stoner, and rock into short, hard-hitting tracks. After a lineup change and a few years of silence, the band released their debut album Wrong Turn in 2016, produced at the Redwall Recording Studio in Rosignano Solvay (Italy). Following the album’s release, the project gained new momentum especially on the live circuit, leading the band to perform at concerts and festivals in international settings as well.
In 2021 they released their second album Burnout, followed in 2023 by two reinterpretations: Hurt by Nine Inch Nails and Wonderwall by Oasis. In 2025, they released a cover of Starlight by The Supermen Lovers*. The current lineup features Jacopo Mascagni (vocals), Stefano Jeghe Morandini (drums), Nik Capitini (electric guitar), and Luca Colombi (bass).
On the stage of The Cage, the band will host the release party for their new album Mirrormaze, set for release in March 2026. The show will offer a live preview of the new studio material, anticipated by the recent release of the single Clear Cut, the first taste of the Hot Cherry’s new sonic direction.
