Filippo Gatti (Rome, 1970) is a singer-songwriter, author, and producer who has been active in the Italian alternative music scene since the 1990s. After his experience with Elettrojoyce—one of the leading alternative rock bands of the period—he embarked on a solo career in 2003, alongside an intense activity as a songwriter and producer, collaborating with numerous artists including Bruno Lauzi, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Marina Rei, Raf, and Riccardo Sinigallia. He has released several solo albums, including Il pilota e la cameriera (2012) and La testa e il cuore (2017), and in 2014 he took part in the Sanremo Music Festival as co-author and producer for Riccardo Sinigallia.
After a long recording hiatus, in 2025 he returned with the double single “Notturno/Estate” and the album Viaggio Sentimentale, created together with Riccardo Sinigallia: a work of intimate, handcrafted pop songwriting that marks a new stage in his human and musical journey, portraying time, relationships, and memory as stops along a conscious emotional voyage.
