With Trumpet Talk\, Paolo Fresu takes the stage at Sala Vanni for a unique encounter in which conversation and live performance flow seamlessly into one another. In dialogue with Fernando Fanutti\, President of Musicus Concentus\, the trumpeter will revisit experiences\, encounters and key moments from his artistic journey\, allowing music to continue\, expand and transform the story. \n\nFor Fresu\, this will mark his first appearance on the stage of the Piazza del Carmine Auditorium\, as well as a return to A Jazz Supreme: he opened the festival’s second edition in 2018 with a duo concert alongside Gianluca Petrella at Teatro Verdi in Florence. \nA leading figure on the Italian and international jazz scene for more than forty years\, Fresu has built an artistic career spanning music\, cinema\, theatre\, visual arts and education.
