Founded in April 2012 by Michele Cheli , One eat One is the world’s first dance/electronic music band made up of disabled and able-bodied people united in music. The band is composed of Michele, Samuele, Simone, Matteo and Said. With self-produced songs and national and international collaborations, the band has revolutionized the musical landscape thanks to a unique and innovative formation. The electronic part and the live part merge , as the experiences of disability and non-disability merge, giving life to a unique musical entity of its kind.
The project was born as an experimental laboratory of inclusion , evolving into an unprecedented musical reality. One eat One creates a total fusion between electronic elements and live performance, shaping a sound fabric that feeds on minimal rhythms, melodic reflections and visual suggestions. This synergy is made possible by the use of traditional instruments such as guitars, which intertwine with electronic pulsations, giving life to a harmonious union.
One eat One embraces diversity in all its forms , reflecting unity in difference. Their live performances are immersive narratives, where music, art and technology merge to take the audience on an emotional journey.
