From her work with Azimuth\, the celebrated trio formed with Kenny Wheeler and John Taylor\, to the many collaborations that have marked her career\, the British singer has created a musical world poised between jazz\, composition and chamber music\, also establishing herself as a lyricist for compositions by musicians including Ralph Towner\, Egberto Gismonti and Steve Swallow. \n \nAlongside her is Glauco Venier\, the Friulian pianist and composer whose musical background spans both classical music and jazz. Their partnership\, which began in the late 1990s and developed for many years also alongside saxophonist and clarinettist Klaus Gesing\, has given rise to a shared musical language built on listening\, space and a subtle balance between composition and improvisation.
