Indieretta Show: the musical lounge of Maestro Pellegrini
Guest of the night: DAVIDE TOFFOLO
Friday, March 20, 2026
Sala Vanni, h. 21:15
Indieretta Show is the traveling lounge of Francesco “Maestro” Pellegrini (Zen Circus), singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist: a place where people talk, play, share stories, and sing, all within an intimate, cozy atmosphere — just like a living room at home. Special guest of the night will be Davide Toffolo, ready to share her story through her most beautiful songs and to engage with the audience, who will also have the chance to ask questions.
Comic artist, songwriter, guitarist, and frontman of Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Davide Toffolo is one of the most original and cross-disciplinary figures in the Italian cultural scene. Born in Pordenone and artistically trained in Bologna, he founded Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, a landmark band of Italian indie music, with whom he has developed a unique imaginative world that intertwines music, comics, and performance, becoming instantly recognizable also thanks to the iconic skull-shaped mask.
Alongside his musical career, he has been a key figure in the renewal of Italian comics since the 1990s, collaborating with magazines such as Dinamite, Fandango, and Mondo Naif. He has published numerous graphic novels, including Carnera, Pasolini, and Il Re Bianco, as well as the performative autobiographies Graphic Novel Is Dead and Graphic Novel Is Back, accompanied by live shows presented across Italy.
He also created the series Cinque Allegri Ragazzi Morti and is the author of narrative and musical projects such as Il cammino della cumbia, a journey in search of the origins of the music of the same name. Through his work, Davide Toffolo continues to operate in a borderland between sound, drawing, and storytelling, shaping a distinctive and recognizable artistic language.
