Uno nuovo trio in cui una leggenda del jazz moderno, Joe Mc Phee, incontra due musicisti più giovani della nuova scena di Chicago, Fred Lonberg-Holm e Michael Zerang. Mc Phee è stato un pioniere delle performance solitarie e del multistrumentalismo; attualmente è coinvolto in molti progetti, dai suoi gruppi alle collaborazioni con Ken Vandermark e Peter Brötzmann. Tutto ciò sottolinea il ruolo centrale e la continua ispirazione della sua musica.
With this new trio a modern jazz legend, Joe Mc Phee, meets two younger musicians of the new Chicago scene, Fred Lonberg-Holm and Michael Zerang. Mc Phee has been a pioneer of solo performance and multi-instrumentalism; at present he is involved in many projects, from his bands to collaborations with Ken Vandermark and Peter Brötzmann. This underlines the central role and the continuous inspiration of his music.
